Kate Josephson, LVT
Kate Josephson graduated from MSU in 1995 with a Bachelor's of Science in Zoology with an emphasis in animal behavior. Kate went back to school to become a licensed vet tech at Macomb Community College and graduated in 1999. Kate has been working at ULVH for 14 years. Kate also is a certified pet bereavement counselor and helps facilitate Union Lake Veterinary Hospital's pet loss support group. Kate has 2 dogs and 1 cats and she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 girls.

Jenny Foss, LVT
Jenny Foss started working at ULVH in 2000. She graduated with an associate degree in vet technology from Macomb Community College in 2003. Jenny has a sweet basset/pitbull mix named Herbie and 6 wonderful cats - 2 of which have heart disease.

Bonnie Gray, VT
Bonnie Gray started working at Union Lake Veterinary Hospital in September of 1995. She is a Veterinary Technician at our practice and at our Rehabilitation Center. Bonnie has special interests in Canine Physical Rehabilitaion, Alternative/Complimentary medicine, Behavior and training, Emergency and Critical Care. Currently Bonnie has 2 dogs, Hadriain a 10 1/2 year old German Shepherd mix and Maddi a 7 year old Boston Terrier mix, 1 cat Keegan who is 16 years old that has been deaf since birth. "I love working with the complicated surgical & medical cases that we see especially when are able to help or cure that pets medical condition."

Kirsten Shorr, LVT
Kirsten Shorr graduated from Michigan State and has worked at ULVH for over 20 years. She has a special interest in surgery and nursing care. Kirsten is married with 2 children and 3 fur children. Her hobbies include golf and cross country skiing.

Barb Foster, LVT
Barb graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Science degree at Veterinary Technology in 1997. She started working at ULVH in 1999. Her favorite parts of her job include surgery, anesthesia, and emergency medicine. Outside of work, Barb enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She rescued two dogs and two cats that complete their family.

Becky Weiss, LVT
Becky has worked at ULVH since August 1999. She started in reception and soon decided to go to tech school. She graduated from Wayne Community College in 2004 and has been a technician since. She currently has 2 Boxers names Jake and Alexis. She also has 2 cats named Skylar and Jerry. Becky has two sons, Jackson and Gavin. Her special interests include alternative medicine and her favorite thing about Union Lake is the people that she works with and the animals she gets to help.

Val Olmstead, LVT
Val joined Union Lake Vet Hospital in March of 2001 while finishing her internship. She graduated from Macomb Community College in 2001 with an associate degree in Veterinary Technology. Val also has a Bachelor in Science from CMU and OCC. She has 3 dogs, 3 cats, and 12 fish. Val is known as the cat whisperer for all the hard to handle cats that come into our clinic. She enjoys dentistries, nursing care, anesthesia. She is very thankful to work with animals on a daily basis.

Tammy Martinez, LVT
Tammy joined ULVH in 1981. She is a graduate of Michigan State University's Veterinary Technology Program. She loves educating clients, emergency surgery, and loves giving extra TLC to both clients and patients. She enjoys spending time with her three kids and husband. Tammy credits her many years with ULVH to the exceptional care and level of medicine that the entire complex has to offer

Lisa Blanchard, LVT, CCRP
Lisa started at ULVH in June of 2008. She is married and shares her house with two Doberman Pinschers (Tango and Rylan). Lisa has been training dogs and actively competing in obedience, agility, conformation and rally for over 20 years. "I decided to become a veterinary technician so I could specialize in the field of canine rehabilitation. Seeing patients flourish after an injury is THE best feeling. Somehow they just know you are trying to help them. The gratitude from the owners can never be explained."

Kristen Klebba, LVT
Kristen started working at Union Lake Veterinary Hospital in 2002 as an assistant. After graduating high school she went to Macomb Community College and graduated from the Vet tech program in 2006. She has 2 dogs named Ally and Daphne and 1 cat named Cruse. Kristen loves working with animals and she plans to work with animals for many years to come.

Jaci St. John, VT
Jaci has worked at Union Lake Veterinary Hospital since 2002. She has a chocolate Lab named Maverick and a cat named Stellar. She loves radiology and taking care of geriatric animals.

Erika Pease, LVT
Erika graduated with honors from Macomb Community College in 1999. She has worked at ULVH since 2000 and started purchasing in 2005. Erika has one 8 year old Great Dane named Fiona. Erika is married with a 2 1/2 year old daughter. Her interests include nursing care and surgery.
